MMAA's Yearly Activities
|
Since its formation, this association has organized several annual activities which has seen participation of
enthusiastic athletes within and away, such as :
- Malaysian Open Veteran / Masters Athletic Championship
- Veteran/Masters Road Relay and Road Races
- Seminar on Health Lifestyle
- Annual Dinner / Award Prensentation
- Participation in the invitation Athletics Meet
- Bulletin
- Women's Sports Carnival
- Merdeka Run (Independence Day Run)
6th Asian Veterans Athletic Championship
MAVA was given the honour to host the 6th Asian Veterans Athletic Championship in Kuala Lumpur in the year 1990.
A total of 14 countries participated in this meet which was held at Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.
from, 9-11 November 1990.
The 16rh Asian Masters Athletic Championship will be held at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil in
December 2010, and 24 Asian countries will be invited to participate.
